An Adventure on the Spooky side...
Departing from Cammeray Square, on the corner of Miller Street and Amherst Street in Cammeray (as marked on the map below), This customised Ghost Tour visits:
There are tales on this tour of grand adventure, of love, lust, greed, murder, cannibalism, mayhem and intrigue from our Georgian and Victorian era past. With so many reports of paranormal activity on the north shore, you never know who might make their "presence" felt. It is even more likely that you may never look at the north side of the harbour quite the same way again. Are you brave enough to want to find out about Sydney's hidden secrets?
- A cursed Aboriginal site
- the grounds of a haunted mansion
- a historic cottage (which served as a mortuary)
- the haunted St Thomas' Anglican Church Cemetery of North Sydney.

Skeletons in the back yard...
Like all of our walking tours, this tour is a Historic Ghost tour. We have to talk about what happened when people were alive, so that what happens when they are dead make sense . ( This won't be the dry, stuffy history as you remember from school. This stuff is gritty, real and fascinating!) . About 70% of what we talk about is taken from peoples letters, diaries and public records. 10% of the tour will be my own opinion and "connecting the dots" from years of dedicated research. The 20% Paranormal part of the tour is a completely "make your own mind up" exercise....!
Our tours are conducted by walking on public property only. A number of the things we talk about happen on government and private property, that having people walk through risks either damaging the site, or poses unacceptable risk to life and limb - for example one of them is currently an abandoned building site where people have been injured. So we will show you as much as we can, while we follow the law, preserve the sites, and your life and limbs. .
We do not operate in dangerous weather such as heavy rain, or thunderstorms. Parts of this tour visits locations that a are prone to poor drainage, and lightning strikes. In the situation that we have to postpone, We will issue you with a gift certificate valid for 18 months, for twice what you have paid for. This way, you will get to come at a later time, and bring friends with you, on us. For more information on our terms of trade, click here. When you purchase tickets, you are agreeing to these terms )
We have a lot of good fun and belly laughs on Sydney Ghost Tours. Most people just come in comfortable, casual evening clothes. If you decide that you want to really make a night out of it, walk on the wild side and dress up as your favourite spooky figure - knock yourself out. Just bring something warm, and good walking shoes - it gets cold sometimes, and graveyards are very unforgiving on high heels...! Just take it easy on drinking - we cannot have people on the tour who are clearly intoxicated, for Public Liability and safety reasons.
